Description

I stole the title from the article which featured Madhubala in the Theatre Arts Magazine August of 1952 issue. (It wasn't the article title but it was mentioned :P)
It was used by the author trying to tell what Madhubala meant. I'm still not sure what it means. If you search for it you'll find many meanings for the word "Madhu" ("Bala" it's the femenine form, meaning "girl")such as "honey", "nectar", and acording to the author also means "fragant", "spring" and "love"... Another meaning give it's "Sweet Maiden"...

Which one it's the meaning? I don't know. I think it's a bit of them all ^^

I totally love her. The more I look at her, the more I adore. She was absolutely mesmerizing...

Dedication to :iconxsixty-3ight:. Congratulations again on passing your Baccalauréat, and best of luck in your University admission exam :D

I'm sure you'll do great ^^

BW picture poorly coloured by me. Again, such a low quality... but I did my best. I hope you like it

"Madhu" is the root word of the words "madhurya" and "madhurima" and so on. "Bala" is literally feminine for "balak" which is a Hindi/Sanskrit word for "boy", therefore, "bala" meens girl. Hence, Madhubala's screen name means "sweet girl".
